“Little dark for us,” Former Steelers QB Terry Bradshaw makes highly insensitive comment on Kyler Murray during SNF show

Former Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer quarterback Terry Bradshaw seemed to have had a massive brain fade during his recent stint as an NFL analyst. The 74-year-old was involved in analyzing the Sunday Night Football encounters for Fox Sports, where seemed to lose control of his tongue.
Terry Bradshaw was talking about Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray ahead of their clash against the Seattle Seahawks and called out the 25-year-old for not making enough yards. The former NFL player suggested that Murray would rather commit suicide than make a few yards himself.
“Their mentality is throw, throw, throw, throw. I think if this kid ran five or six runs in a row, I think he’d commit suicide or something,” Terry Bradshaw said during the show.

Terry Bradshaw’s insensitive comments drew the spotlight during the pre-game show for the Cardinals-Seahawks game
A comment of this magnitude, especially in today’s day and age, when issues about mental health are being highlighted, did not go down well with his colleagues and people who were watching the show alike.
One of Bradshaw’s colleagues, in the form of Howie Long, bluntly called out the Hall of Famer on the spot for making such an insensitive comment on a live show. Long said, “Whoa, whoa, whoa! That’s a little dark for this audience.”
Another one of the analysts present on the scene, Curt Menefee, tried to play down the comment from Bradshaw, saying that the comment was dark for all of them present in the box.
Although Terry Bradshaw copped criticism for his comments, fans were also quick to point out that it might have simply been a slip of the tongue on the part of the veteran quarterback.
