“That’s on GP”: Antonio Brown elated with George Pickens doing the AB special dance after scoring his first TD
Antonio Brown George Pickens
George Pickens was delighted after scoring his first TD; his celebration choice was quite different. Pickens did the Antonio Brown dance. This celebration was first done by Antonio Brown in July and the dance is based on his song, unsurprisingly he executed it pretty well. Seems like Pickens has found someone he looks up to.
Antonio Brown shared the celebration on his Twitter applauding the young rookie. Brown is currently a free agent looking for a new club apart from that the former Tampa Bay player also came out with his music album. Brown was famous on and off the field, on-field he was a great runner but off the field his theatrics used to take social media by storm almost every week.
The celebration was exciting but the Touchdown was amazing. George Pickens caught a 26-yard pass from Mason Rudolph and completed an amazing run from the touchline by evading the defenders. The youngster has a lot of potential and some charm as well.
“his performance was consistent with what we’ve seen in practice settings”: Mike Tomlin, Steelers Coach on George Pickens
George Pickens impressed his coach Mike Tomlin not just because of the touchdown but for his game off the ball. “I’ve got to look at the tape to analyze some of those things, but from the playmaker perspective, his performance was consistent with what we’ve seen in practice settings,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said after the game.
Pickens was making intelligent runs to get away from the defenders and wasn’t afraid to get physical with them. He was also very sharp on the ball with his catching ability. Steelers won that game against the Seahawks where Pickens scored the winning TD and did the ‘Brown Dance’.
Antonio Brown is currently a free agent but is exploring an opportunity to get hired by a team. He currently showed interest in the Cowboys who are suffering from an injury crisis where their No.1 WR is out for 6-10 weeks.
It’s pretty clear that George Pickens looks up to Antonio Brown but the young rookie must only be inspired by his skill on the field instead of his theatrics off the field.
