The Celebrity Golf Showdown, The Match, is back for its 8th edition. Unlike the previous seven editions, The Match 2023 will feature an All-NFL vs. an All-NBA show. The Kansas City Chiefs’ dynamic duo of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce is set to take on the Golden State Warriors splash brothers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
The much-awaited charity golf tournament will be played at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday. Furthermore, it will be telecasted live on TNT. This will be the second edition of the Match that will not feature a single golfer.
Last year, the charity event featured teams from the NFL, as veteran quarterbacks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers teamed up against the young and coming signal-callers Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
The Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and the Warriors point guard Stephen Curry have already played in the charity event. But tight end Travis Kelce and shooting guard Klay Thompson will make their The Match debuts in the upcoming tournament. This year, the event featuring top athletes from two sports will raise funds for the No Kid Hungry campaign.

The match between the team of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce against the team of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will be played at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Furthermore, The Match that will be contested over 12 holes will be played on Thursday, June 29, and will begin at 7 p.m. ET.

In the United Kingdom and Europe, the much-anticipated event will be available on Discovery Plus.
