Ja’Marr is an extremely talented wide receiver who has made a name for himself at the highest level in a relatively short period of time. Roped in by the Bengals in the 2021 NFL draft, it would be fair to say that he raised quite a few eyebrows with his performances in his rookie season.

Not only Ja’Marr succeeded in setting the rookie and franchise records for single-year and single-game receiving yards but also won Offensive Rookie of the Year. The WR played an instrumental role in guiding the Bengals to the Super Bowl last season.

After all these achievements in his first season, one would expect Ja’Marr to be rated highly by the creators of the NFL Madden video game. However, as it turns out, Chase is placed on the 18th spot among receivers in “Madden 23” game. Davante Adams has been given the top spot, whereas Cooper Kupp has taken the second spot.

When Ja’Marr got to know about where he stands on the rankings, he couldn’t stop himself from reacting on Twitter. “I’m going keep working. Extra motivation,” he replied on the list uploaded by Ari Meirov of top 10 receivers rated in game. It was actually baffling to see Ja’Marr rated so low.

Not just NFL fans, even the GOAT Tom Brady reacted to the list. “Don’t sweat it man (Ja’Marr Chase). Madden didn’t even put me in the game my second year,” Brady wrote.

Tyreek Hill takes the third spot on the list, DeAndre Hopkin, Stefon Diggs and Justin Jefferson takes the fourth, fifth and sixth spot, respectively. Without a doubt, Chase would be thinking what he needs to do more in order to get his name in the top 10 at least.
