Tom Brady is arguably one of the best NFL players of all time and the 45-year-old justifiably carries an aura about himself. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has won a record 7 Super Bowl titles and isn’t finished just yet.

Tom Brady is on the verge of breaking yet another record, as he stands only 164 passing yards away from touching the epic 100,000 yards mark in all of the regular and postseason matches. Despite all the troubles that Brady has faced in recent times, one can still bet on him to come up with the goods.

Before the record-breaking encounter against the Los Angeles Rams, Tom Brady was asked about the impending record ahead of him. The veteran quarterback was modest in answering the question and gave most of the credit to his teammates.

“I think for me it’s a credit to all the guys that I’ve played with, and who have blocked for me, who have caught passes,” said Brady as reported by New York Post.

Tom Brady gave a special mention to his Buccaneers’ wide receivers like Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and his longtime teammate and friend Rob Gronkowski. Although Tom Brady highlighted only three names, he wanted to name every player he’s played with, an act which would be impossible for him given his 23-year career span.

“I think all those things are a great celebration to all those guys. I think I can’t do s–t in this league without guys doing what they are amazing at, too. I’m very fortunate to play with great players, people who catch the football, great coaches, and being down here has been an amazing experience for me,” Brady said.

“Playing with Mike [Evans] and Chris [Godwin], and that’s why I came here, because of guys like that. I played with [Rob Gronkowski] all those years. Obviously, I could name every player that I’ve played with and how meaningful they are to my life and what they’ve contributed in terms of the memories I have from this sport,” Brady said.
