2022 has proved to be Tom Brady‘s most difficult year of his career. However, despite the adversity, the legendary QB came out on top and clinched the NFC South division title with a game left in the regular season.

Brady got divorced from Gisele Bundchen this year after 13 years of blissful marriage. His NFL season was also not going the way he would have planned. Nonetheless, those are things of the past as the Bucs have bounced back and look stronger than ever before going into the playoffs.

The Bucs QB was recently featured on the Let’s Go podcast and shared his struggles this season and how he overcame them and clinched the victory.

I think that’s a, it’s a good point. And I think, you know, we all are going through stuff, you know, we’re people and we’re all going through stuff and obviously we’re all professionals and we wanna show up to work and do our best--And when you’re a professional, that’s what professional means.

The legendary Bucs QB has always had the work ethic and discipline that has helped him to be at the top of the game despite numerous adversities in his life. Brady unretired at the start of the season as he thought he could still perform at the top level despite being 45 years old.

Brady was counted out this season as many thought the QB had grown old and didn’t have the pace required to thrive in the NFL. Although he has been a bit slow for a couple of seasons, the Bucs QB has improvised and taken his game to a new level and is still proving all his haters wrong.

Some rumors touted Brady to retire mid-season. The reason being him not able to cope with the ugly divorce with Gisele, however; the QB has defied all expectations yet again and shown pure resilience in the face of adversity.

That’s what life’s about. A lot of resilience, overcoming different obstacles over the course of the year, and then ultimately coming together for a common goal. That’s why I love team sports. I always say, do you care about your team and the people on your team? And do you care about the mission? And that’s what makes a great teammate to me.

The Bucs are currently on top of the division with one game left against the Atlanta Falcons. Brady will look to end a season on a high and hope for a successful run in the playoffs and possibly grab that 8th inevitable ring.
