It is no secret Brady is an avid supporter of his alma mater, the University of Michigan. He has been showing love to the Wolverines for a long time. He even made a bet with the Ohio State Buckeyes alumni C.J. Stroud when the Buckeyes’ went against Michigan during the 2023 regular season.

Even before Michigan’s game against the Crimson Tide, Brady was seen wearing a ‘Michigan Vs. Everybody’ bracelet to show support to his team. So it’s a surprise to no one that the 7-time Super Bowl champion went berserk over his team’s crucial victory.

Brady played for them from 1995 to 1999 while appearing in 29 games, throwing 4,773 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also once led them to a huge comeback victory against Bama during their 2000 Orange Bowl matchup.

On the sporting side of things, Michigan rallied back from a 7-point deficit in the late fourth quarter and won the game in overtime. Quarterback J.J. McCarthy had a great outing on Sunday as threw for 3 touchdowns, leading his team to a sweet victory against the No.4 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

Jim Harbaugh ranks J.J. McCarthy higher than Tom Brady

Following the Michigan Wolverines’ victory against Bama on Sunday, head coach Jim Harbaugh hailed J.J. McCarthy as the greatest Michigan quarterback ever, even better than Tom Brady.

I've stated it before, but right here, this is the greatest quarterback in University of Michigan-college football history.
Harbaugh said in the post-game press conference on Monday

Harbaugh did acknowledge Michigan alumni Tom Brady, but he went on to say that nobody in college football had a better career than McCarthy.

Nonetheless, Harbaugh will now be focused on leading his team to a victory against the No.2 ranked Washington Huskies, who the Wolverines will be facing in the CFP national championship game.
