The GOAT conversation in sports is something that we continually have throughout the year, the greatest players are usually the ones who won over 5 championships in their respective sports. From 1990 to date, Tom Brady and Michael Jordan are the greatest athletes as the former has seven Super Bowl rings and the latter six NBA championships. Bill Russell is also in a club by himself as he has 11 NBA championships in total, but he is an anomaly so usually, he is not spoken of in the GOAT conversation.
LeBron James has four rings as of now but he can get more, however, Jennifer Lopez has overtaken him. She may be the most absurd addition to the six-ring club considering that she is neither an athlete nor has anything to do with sports. So how is it that she has six rings? Ben Affleck recently proposed to her for the second time, Affleck had earlier given her the third ring in the early 2000s. Now he has made it possible for JLo to claim that she is in the same club as Brady and Jordan…

Will Jennifer Lopez match Tom Brady in the number of rings?
Tom Brady has seven rings which means that JLo is one short she can catch up and get there but we hope that does not happen. She has loved hard and maybe has taken some impulsive decisions as well, the singer was the latest recipient of The Generation Award at the MTV Movies and TV Awards. On this occasion, she sent a message to all of her exes.
She flaunted the sixth ring that Affleck gave her and made a heartfelt statement, “I want to thank all the people who gave me this life. I want to thank the people who gave me joy, and the ones who broke my heart. The ones who were true, and the ones who lied to me. I want to thank true love, and I want to thank the way that I lied to myself because that’s how I knew that I had to grow.”
She went on to thank her kids as well for teaching her unconditional love, she has not lived a life that is anything short of a drama series that would fare well on Netflix. Each ring has its own story. It all started in 1996 when Lopez first got engaged to Ojani Noa who gave her a 3.4-carat diamond ring that is valued at €100,000. They were together for just a year, she then got married to dancer Chris Judd who gave her an emerald 4-carat ring valued at $100,000. Their relationship ended in 2002.
Ben Affleck and her got serious in 2003 and he gave her a 6.1-carat pink diamond ring in early 2003 but they never got married as they called off the wedding in September that year. JLo’s fourth tryst with love was with Marc Anthony who overtook Ben Affleck and gave him an 8.1-carat blue diamond ring that was priced at €4.7 million. The couple stayed together for seven years but ended up splitting in 2011.
Lopez took six years to get engaged again to MLB legend Alex Rodriguez who has her a 15-carat emerald ring worth €1 million. Recently Ben Affleck came back to her life and proposed a wild green diamond ring that has been valued at €9 million. We hope Lopez is done gathering rings as at this rate she can surpass both Brady and Jordan.
