Tom Brady is regarded as the most clutch player in NFL history. The Bucs QB has seven Super Bowl titles in his immaculate career and is eyeing his eighth one and possibly his last.
However, the QB recently spoke about the dangers and uncertainty of the sport. The world of football is physical and anything can happen at any moment. Damar Hamlin’s tragic injury was a real eye-opener for everyone, as many athletes started to reconsider their life’s philosophies and views.
Brady was one of them who regained a new perspective about life and shared it on the Let’s Go Podcast this week. The legendary QB has stopped thinking about the distant future and only has concern with the next practice or the next game.
“I want to say one thing,” Brady stated on the Let’s Go podcast. “What did this last week teach us with what the brave and courageous Damar Hamlin went through? We’re not promised anything, none of us are, not one play. So just take it for what it is.”
Damar Hamlin’s injury shook the entire NFL world as everyone came together and prayed for the youngster’s quick recovery. The Bills DB had encountered a near fatal injury and had fallen unresponsive on the field. Fortunately, he recovered and is now back home.
However, this injury was a real breaking point for Brady, who has stopped taking simple things for granted after witnessing Hamlin’s injury and started to enjoy all the basic intricacies of life.

The seven time Super Bowl winner loves the sport with all his heart and has gone to various extent to play the sport. Tom Brady is 45 years old but still plays at the top level while risking himself in every game.
However, now Brady understands to not taking anything for granted and dealing with things one at a time. “Let’s not take anything for granted. Let’s just do our best and do things you love to do as well. We’re not promised much, we’re not promised anything, and nothing’s forever, so we’ve just got to continue to do our very best however we can,” Brady stated on the Let’s Go podcast.
Brady also gave immense credit to the trainers and medical personnel present who played a crucial part in Hamlin’s recovery. The 24-year-old’s injury will have a huge impact on the league as it will make further changes to deal with such unfortunate injuries in the future.
On the other hand, Brady is preparing for the first game of the playoffs against the Cowboys this week. The Bucs QB is pretty sure of himself and believes that they will make it to the next round.
