Tom Brady is all set to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what will be the veteran quarterback’s 23rd season in the NFL. However, after the end of the 2021 season, there was quite a considerable amount of conjecture regarding his future at the franchise, and overall in the league.

The 44-year old even announced his retirement from the sport in February only to recant the decision about 40 days later. After he decided to make a comeback, Tom Brady was approached by the Miami Dolphins who were very keen on making improvements to their roster.

As Brady revealed during an interaction with the media, that he definitely had conversations with the Miami Dolphins to join the franchise in some capacity ahead of the season. Despite having conversations the move never really went through and he will continue to stay on with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady said, “I had a lot of conversations with a lot of people, I’ve had for the last three or four years of my career, about different opportunities when I’m done playing football, so, I kind of made a decision of what I’d like to do, and I’ll get to be in the game of football.

Tom Brady continued, “I think for me, the most important thing is where I’m at now and what I hope to do for this team. That’s been my commitment to this team and this organization. It’s been so much fun for me to come here two years ago. It’s been almost 2½ now and it’s been an incredible part of my football journey. And it’s not over.”
