Kylian Mbappe and Tom Brady
7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady extended his sympathy for Kylian Mbappe after the Frenchman, despite scoring a hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup Final, couldn’t win the trophy for France. Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, won the 2022 World Cup after beating France in the final in penalties by 4-2. This was Argentina’s third World Cup title and their first in 36 years.
Mbappe scored a hat-trick in the final and was the only reason why France was in contention throughout the final. Argentina looked like they were going to win it with a 2-0 lead, but Mbappe, courtesy of his 2 goals in 2 minutes, leveled things up and forced extra time. The team from South America again took a 3-2 lead after Messi’s second goal of the night until Mbappe scored in the last few minutes to draw level once again and force penalties.
Brady spoke about this on Monday after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals a couple of days earlier. He addressed that Mbappe scored three goals but France didn’t win the World Cup and it is a part of life. The legendary quarterback said that one is not entitled to win every time. He tried a philosophical take on the matter and said that one can only make the best of the day.
“That could be Kylian Mbappe, who scored three goals in the World Cup (final). And you know what? The (French) team didn’t win. That’s life. You’re not entitled to winning. No one is guaranteed winning. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. The sun came up today, and you’re going to try and make this the best day you can,” Brady said on his Let’s Go! podcast.
Can Tom Brady turn things around for the Bucs?

Tom Brady has been nowhere near his best this season. He hasn’t been able to lead the Bucs’ offense well, and that is reflected in the result. The team is currently 6-8 for the season and despite them being at the top spot of the NFC South division, things aren’t looking great for them.
Brady is missing passes and hasn’t been able to carry the ball ahead. His stats for the season are nowhere near the best quarterbacks of the league and, due to all of this, people are questioning his decision to come back from retirement.
The Bucs however, are still in a decent position to qualify for the playoffs. Their upcoming matches are relatively easy and Brady would intend to bring his best when it matters. The team will face the Cardinals, the Panthers, and the Falcons in the coming weeks.
