“Give the Lombardi to Brady already”: Twitter goes CRAZY after Tampa Bay signs veteran WR Julio Jones
Tom Brady and Julio Jones
Tom Brady is name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. Passing yards, completions, touchdown passes, or games started, the man has got numbers that seem too good to be true in almost all facets of the game. Not long ago, Tom Brady shocked the NFL world when he announced that he is retiring from the sport.
However, Brady shocked the world yet again when he decided to return to his favorite sport in a matter of weeks and is now all set to lead the Bucs in the coming season. Needless to say, the world is excited to see Tom dominate the proceedings on the football field once again.
Julio Jones is the latest addition to Bucs’ WR unit
The man’s target is to win the coveted title for the record 8th time in his career. While Gronk might not return to the Bucs this time around, Tom’s chances of winning the championship have got a great boost with the addition of a superstar wide receiver. The Tampa Bay-based franchise has roped in Julio Jones into their side.
As reported by NFL Insider Tom Pelissero, veteran WR Julio has signed a one-year deal with the Bucs. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and now Julio, the receiving corps of the Bucs is looking in great shape. After spending a decade with the Falcons, Julio was roped in by the Titans in 2021.
However, that association came to an end in March this year. Without a doubt, Jones will add greatly to the overall strength of the Bucs. As soon as the news of Julio’s addition to the roster broke, innumerable reactions started pouring in on Twitter with many suggesting that Brady would be cloud 9 at the moment.
It will be interesting to see if Julio is able to provide what the Bucs are looking for. With Brady at the helm of affairs, chances are, Julio is going to have a heck of an impact on the team.
