“Tom Brady wanted to shut down the conversation,” Joe Burrow predicted Brady’s comeback from retirement

Tom Brady dropped a massive bombshell on the world of NFL in February when he decided to announce his retirement from the game. The seven time Super Bowl winner wanted to spend more time with his family during this offseason.
However, he gave his fans a massive relief only about 40 days later when he called back his decision to retire and announced his return to the game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This raised plenty of questions in the media regarding Tom Brady, but up and coming Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, Joe Burrow has claimed he understood why the veteran took such a decision.
Joe Burrow felt Tom Brady would never retire even when the latter announced his decision earlier this year

Joe Burrow gave his own perspective on the retirement story which surrounded Brady in February. The 25- year old felt that Brady is playing too well to retire from the game.
“Did anybody actually think he was going to be retired?” Burrow said on the “Full Send Podcast.” “You guys gotta know better than that. … He’s playing way too well to give it up right now.”
“I think he wanted to shut down the conversation,” Burrow said. “If he didn’t announce his retirement, everyone would be talking about, ‘Is he retiring? Is he not retiring?’ So, I think he went ahead and did it to get everyone off his back so he could go think about it.”
