The New England Patriots legend Tom Brady is arguably the greatest football player of all time. After dominating the sport for more than two decades, Brady recently announced that he’s retiring from playing football. But even before his retirement, Brady already had a plan for his post-retirement life as he signed a 10-year $375 million deal to work as a sportscaster with Fox Network.

After officially retiring from the sport in February 2023, the Patriots icon Tom Brady is now spending a lot of time with his children and enjoying his role as a father. Brady claimed that he will start working for Fox Network in the fall of 2024 after taking a break from football. However, it seems like Brady will quit his deal as there’s a shift in his mindset, according to an NFL insider.

During a recent episode of The Marchand and Ourand podcast, the New York Post reporter Andrew Marchand claims there’s a possibility that Brady might call an NFL game as a sports broadcaster.

“It was at 51 percent that he’s going to do it to 49 that he’s not going to do it with the reasoning it’s so much money he’ll try it for a year,” said Marchand. “However, I’ve talked to a couple people recently close to Brady and I kind of feel like I’m going 49% chance he does it, 51% chance he doesn’t. He doesn’t want to travel that much. Obviously, he’s going to go private.”

Marchand went on to say that, unlike Joe Buck or Troy Aikman, Brady would want to be all in, and if he’s broadcasting, he’d want to be early every time, which would require a greater commitment from the NFL legend. So, according to Marchand, Tom Brady would rather walk away from the deal than do it for the sake of it.

2022 was one of the worst years for Tom Brady, both professionally and personally. Brady had a horrible outing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season and got bounced by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the postseason.

Besides, the 15-time Pro Bowl QB also got a divorce from his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen after being married for 13 years. Nevertheless, after finally saying goodbye to the sport he loved, Brady is now enjoying his time as a father of three children.

The seven-time Super Bowl Champion attends his son’s football games regularly and was seen taking his daughter to horse riding classes. Following the amicable divorce with the Brazilian supermodel, both Brady and Gisele have prioritized their children’s happiness and have picked Miami as the home base to raise them.
