Things are not going well for the Colorado Buffaloes. After a decent start to their college football campaign, they are presently limping. Lost consecutive two games and are presently holding a 4-4 record. Their latest loss came against the UCLA Bruins by a margin of 28-16.

The game will be remembered for a lot of things. However, the most interesting part was Travis Hunter, the wide receiver and cornerback of this Buffalo team, who suffered an abysmal hit by his teammate.

The development took place in the third quarter of the game when Travis was trying to bring down a UCLA player. His teammates were on the verge of supporting him. They were expected to assist him in sacking the player. However, the reality turned out different.

Instead of sacking the player, they hit Travis, and he was sacked by his teammate. A video later went on social media, which depicted the moment. It was unlucky for Travis as well as for his team.

After their abysmal last season, the Buffaloes management hired Deion Sanders with a lot of hopes. Sanders led the Buffaloes to have a good start. They won back-to-back three games with a bunch of new players on the list. However, this winning campaign suffered a major halt, as they suffered two defeats after their winning streak. Their number of defeats is now equal to their number of wins.

Travis Hunter couldn’t save his team against UCLA

Despite a frustrating night, Travis Hunter left no stone unturned to seal a victory for his team. Offensively, he was not that impactful but defensively at his best. The player turned out to be a beast as he led an acrobatic interception for his team. In addition to this, he made a total of four tackles. Two were solo tackles and two were assisted.

Apart from his defensive display, nothing more was positive for the Buffaloes. The team struggled offensively.

Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback for the Buffs, covered 217 passing yards (second lowest for him this season) with a touchdown, but it was not enough to grab a victory for the team. Overall, it was a frustrating night for the team.
