“He can have a bigger role in society,” Travis Kelce and former Steelers’ OT Alejandro Villanueva STRONGLY advice HC Mike Tomlin to run for Presidency

Mike Tomlin has been the Steelers HC for 16 years and has had a massive influence on the team.

Travis Kelce is a talented TE who just won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. However, during his free time, the 33-year-old and his brother handle a successful podcast show.

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his brother Travis co-own the New Heights podcast and invite lucrative and exciting guests every week. This week it was former Pittsburgh Steelers OT Alejandro Villanueva who had some amazing stories to share.

Although the segment was super interesting, there was a part that caught the eye of many viewers. Both Travis and Alejandro started talking about the impact of HC Mike Tomlin on the Steelers organization.

Tomlin has been part of the Steelers organization for 16 years now. What’s even more astounding is that the Pittsburgh-based team has never had a losing record under him.

The Steelers HC is a veteran of the game, and both Kelce and Alejandro understand that. However, the former Steelers OT firmly believes that Tomlin should adopt a bigger role in society and eventually run for President.

“Mike Tomlin is a one-of-a-kind, I think sometimes I get a little pissed off when I see him because I know that he can have a much bigger role in society than being a head coach. You know he’s got incredible leadership skills, incredible charisma,” Alejandro Villanueva stated. “I think he sees people for you know where they’re from… coach Tomlin was somebody who believed in coaching and he believed in being a part of your success story.”

Travis Kelce completely agreed with Alejandro’s assessment and doubled down on his own views regarding the Steelers’ HC. Although they are part of rival teams, the Chiefs TE had complete respect for Mike Tomlin.

Travis Kelce wants Mike Tomlin to run for Presidency

Mike Tomlin is currently occupied in the NFL, handling the Steelers squad and helping them challenge for the division. However, Travis Kelce wants him to do more and run for President.

Kelce believes that Tomlin will be a great fit for the position of President and has his own reasons for that. The Chiefs TE knows that the Steelers HC has a likable personality, and everyone can agree with him.

I don't want you worrying about people on the outside or even the person sitting next to you. This is a you vs. you battle.

Whether it's the preparation of mind and body, the understanding of the game, you need to continually get better.

“I’ve had a few conversations with him and I know everybody speaks to the absolute world of it man so, coach Tomlin, we’re gonna need you to run for president,” Travis Kelce stated.

Travis Kelce has made his assessment; however, Mike Tomlin has not expressed a desire to run for President, and it is unlikely that he would ever do so.
