Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was not a happy man coming out of world-famous U.S popstar, Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour concert at the Arrowhead Stadium. The 33-year-old miserably failed in his attempts of meeting Swift at the end of her performance.

Travis Kelce talked about his disappointment during the latest episode of his podcast, New Heights. The 2x Super Bowl winner revealed that despite his best attempts, he failed in his quest of striking up a conversation with Taylor Swift before and after the concert.

Travis Kelce had also devised a masterplan of sharing his number with Swift through a friendship bracelet, made specifically for her. However, all his efforts were in vain as he could not give her the bracelet, as Swift does not meet fans during her shows.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce told his brother, Jason, as reported by TMZ. “She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”

At this juncture, Travis Kelce’s co-host Jason Kelce poked fun at the expense of his younger brother. Jason joked that the reason Taylor Swift did not meet the Kansas City Chiefs star was due to her being a Philadelphia Eagles fan. However, even after facing rejection, the tight end appreciated the environment created by her beloved “Swifties” inside his home stadium. He also compared the capacity crowd with that of an NFL game featuring the Chiefs.

“I’ve only seen Arrowhead filled like that for Chiefs games with that much excitement, and everybody was dressed in pink and purple going crazy for her. It was wild. It was a wild show.” Travis Kelce is currently single after he ended his five-year relationship with ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole. Since their breakup, Kelce has been spotted with Megan Thee Stallion and Zuri Hall in public giving rise to rumors of him potentially dating either of them.
