Dak Prescott, who is touted as the franchise QB for the Dallas Cowboys, has had an abysmal form since last season. The 30-year-old QB struggles to keep the ball in play and always forces unnecessary turnovers.

The Cowboys QB led the league in one stat. He led the league in interceptions last season by throwing 29 in just 33 regular season games. This makes him one of the most volatile QBs on the ball.

Prescott has always been a bit volatile with the ball, and that has helped the opposition take an unwanted advantage. The same situation occurred in the NFL divisional playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers.

ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky recently put out an interesting tweet pointing out the fallacies in Prescott’s game.“Kind of a shocking stat. Last 3 seasons Dak has started 33 regular season games. In those 33 starts he has throw 29 INTS. Did not expect that,” Dan Orlovsky stated on Twitter.

This tweet from Orlovsky started a conversation on social media where people started fighting with each other over the credibility of the 30-year-old QB. Dak Prescott will be the Cowboys’ QB for many more years to come. However, it raises a big question about the Cowboys’ credibility as a title challenging side.

Although Dak Prescott’s performance has been completely unsatisfactory for the past couple of seasons, Dan Orlovsky’s argument was pretty one-sided against him.

Orlovsky pointed out Prescott’s interception. However, he failed to point out the interceptions made by other franchise QBs who are not far behind the Cowboys’ QB.

NFL Twitter was furious over this tweet and decided to hit back at Orlovsky with some stats of their own. Josh Allen from the Buffalo Bills was the most talked about. He also has a similar number of interceptions compared to Prescott. The masses on social media called out Dan Orlovsky‘s clear bias and agenda against Prescott and reprimanded him for that.

However, there were also some who completely believe that Prescott is nowhere near the QB he gets the hype for. They believe he is a mid-QB at best and turning out to be a liability in Dallas.

Dak Prescott doesn’t have the complete support of his fans and will have to work incredibly hard next season to win his fans back. The Cowboys QB is getting older each year, and soon it will be time to make a change.
