Football is a contact sport as there is a lot of physicality involved. However, it is also one of most loved and followed sport in the world. Every team in the NFL has a die-hard fanbase who are passionate about their team. Unfortunately, this passion can sometimes boil over with incidents of physical fights emerging in the stands. A similar incident occurred during the New England Patriots-Miami Dolphins game on Sunday.
During the game, a 53-year-old man tragically passed away after suffering from a medical event. The man, who was later identified as, Dale Mooney died during the later stages of the game. Mooney, a diehard Patriots fan, was involved in a heated altercation with a Dolphins fan. Further, a video of the incident has surfaced on the internet where the man was immediately rushed to the hospital as he lost his consciousness. It was confirmed later that he died in the hospital.
Fans on Twitter were outraged about the incident and there are calls to ‘lock up’ the Dolphins’ fan in jail. A lot of fans paid their respects to Mooney while some questioned the behavior of fans during the games. People urged NFL to do something about the growing problem of fights during the games. No charges have been filed as of now.
The Patriots-Dolphins game ended with a 24-17 Dolphins win, but that was not the most important thing during the game. The safety of the fans should be of the utmost importance and incidents like these should not happen so frequently.

Tyreek Hill claims that the Patriots fans are ‘some of the worst’ in NFL
The New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins played an exciting game on Sunday. The Dolphins pulled off a 24-17 victory. Dolphins’ WR Tyreek Hill waved goodbye to the Pats fan after scoring a touchdown. He talked about that in his postgame interview.

“It felt tremendous, man,” Hill said. “Those fans are some of the worst fans in the NFL. And I’m going to stand on that; they are real nasty. Some of the things they were saying, I wouldn’t say in church. So yeah, it felt great to wave goodbye to the fans, and I’ll do it again. Bye.”
While he might get heat for a statement of that consensus, considering the demise of the Patriots’ fan, he has the backing of the Dolphins. Meanwhile, whether fans turn on him is a matter of concern for another day. Right now, the NFL mourns the death of Dale Mooney.
