NFL legend Tom Brady has been struggling a lot this year and it won’t be an overstatement at all to say that he is having one of his worst seasons in the NFL. Earlier this year, he came back from retirement, and ever since then, things haven’t gone his way. Despite everything, he has produced some clutch moments as a result of which, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still in contention for the playoffs.

Brady will be a free agent after this season and has made it clear that retirement isn’t on his mind. That means Brady will be exploring options next season and there are already a few probable teams that he’s being linked to. His former team, the New England Patriots, is one of the frontrunners, and the prospect of Brady calling it quits with the team he started will be poetic justice. The San Francisco 49ers is another team that Bardy is being linked with and the latest team that Brady could go to is the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints will reportedly try to bring back Sean Payton as the Head Coach of the team. Payton was the HC of the Saints from 2006 to 2021 and even won a Super Bowl with them in 2009. As reported by Pro Football Talk, this is currently the “worst-kept secret” in league circles. Payton won’t have any problem returning to the Saints, but the only drawback is that he’ll be giving up a shot at becoming the first coach in league history to win a Super Bowl with two different teams. Although, if both Brady and Payton work together, then could come up with something magical.

The Saints fans had mixed reactions to this news. While some of them were very excited about this to happen, many believed that Brady playing for them next season won’t be good for the team because of his age. However, fans were happy to have Sean Payton on board with them.

The Saints haven’t been at par this season but with a 6-9 record; they are still in contention for the playoffs. They are just one game behind division leaders- the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will face the Eagles and the Panthers in their remaining two matches.
