The 2022 Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner was one of the guys who actively recruited the former Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. Now that Rodgers has joined the Jets, Gardner is reaping the benefits. Rodgers and Gardner attended the NBA playoff game between the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat, where the 10-time Pro Bowl QB introduced Gardner to the A-list Hollywood actress Jessica Alba.
On Wednesday, the 4-time league MVP QB Aaron Rodgers was sitting courtside in the playoff game between the Knicks and the Heat with his new teammate Ahmad Sauce Gardner. They were seated next to the famed actress Jessica Alba and her friend. The 22-year-old cornerback didn’t know who Alba is, which led to the 39-year-old QB making fun of him.
Nonetheless, Rodgers introduced Gardner to Alba and her friend, and they all had a little chat together. On Thursday, the Fantastic Four actress took to social media to reveal what Gardner told her friend during their chat.
“Lol -I totally see how this kid Sauce got his name, he said to my girl @ElizabethMxo “How can I get caught up when I’m the catch”. But in all honesty he was actually very polite with his elder @AaronRodgers12 and everyone else in the room. It was nice meeting you @iamSauceGardner ~Honey and Storm,” tweeted Alba about their meeting.
Sauce Gardner was impressed with his own game after Jessica remembered their meeting. “Damnn it’s been 2 days and you still remember what I said word for word.. I just might be HIM,” tweeted Gardner in response.

On the business side of things, the NY Jets have successfully acquired the Packers icon Aaron Rodgers after months and months of trade talks. The Jets front office has built a strong roster through the years and all they needed was some stability in the quarterback position.
And now, under the veteran leadership of the 39-year-old Rodgers, the Jets would look to end the 13-year-long playoff drought and make a postseason appearance next season for the first time since 2010.
