The 2023 NFL off-season was one for the ages. The league saw some big trades and moves but the biggest one is certainly the former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers moving East to play for the New York Jets. Besides, the 2023 NFL Draft was also a massive success as all 32 teams addressed their needs in a 3-day event. And now, it’s time for the 2023 NFL Schedule.
NFL fans are eager to know when their teams will face certain teams. This year’s NFL season has plenty of exciting matchups. The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Cincinnati Bengals in the regular season in a much anticipated AFC Championship rematch. Like that there are plenty of other matchups the fans are excited about.
According to multiple reports, the NFL announced the 2023 Schedule will be released on Thursday. The schedule release will be telecasted live on NFL Network from 8 p.m. ET. There are multiple changes in this year’s scheduling process. The most notable change is the league is planning to have its first-ever Black Friday game. The Black Friday game will be telecasted on Amazon Prime video.
Furthermore, the league will also implement the controversial two Thursday Night Football games for one team scheduling process. Some other scheduling changes are some teams will not have guaranteed primetime games.

Social media reacts to the changes in the 2023 NFL Schedule
NFL fans on social media had reactions to some of the changes in the 2023 NFL Scheduling process. Fans believe that 2 Thursday Night Football games for one team will result in lots of unnecessary injuries.
Furthermore, some people also believe that having a Black Friday game might be too much football in a short time. However, most people were happy with some teams not getting prime-time games as some of last year’s prime-time games were pretty awful.
The league reportedly waited for some of the big names in football to find their home for the next season to make the schedule. Aaron Rodgers moving to the New York Jets and Lamar Jackson‘s contract extension fiasco with the Baltimore Ravens delayed the scheduling a bit.
Now that Rodgers and Jackson found their new teams, the league feels comfortable scheduling their teams in prime time. The Jets fans could expect a lot of prime-time games and teams like the Denver Broncos and the Houston Texans might receive less attention regarding prime-time games.
