Lamar Jackson is yet to sign a new contract with the Baltimore Ravens, but that did not prevent him from joining the franchise for the minicamp ahead of the 2022 NFL season. The 25-year-old sprung speculations about his future at the franchise, after deciding to skip the voluntary OTAs, earlier this month.
However, Lamar Jackson put all of those speculations to rest by showing up at the Ravens’ mandatory mini-training camp. He is in the final year of his rookie contract and talks surrounding a contract extension between the player and the franchise have been going on forever.

Although a mutual decision to extend his contract hasn’t been found yet, that does not seem to deter the former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback show his loyalties.
The Baltimore Ravens fans finally got a glimpse of their star, through an Instagram video posted by cornerback, Marlon Humphrey. The video posted on Humphrey’s story was captioned, “Ladies and Gentleman… He’s here,” referring to Lamar Jackson finally reaching the franchise after missing three weeks of organized team activities.
The 2019 NFL MVP, was missing from action for the Baltimore Ravens for the last four matches of the 2021 season and will be eager to get things up to speed when he takes the responsibility of taking his side to the playoffs once again, cometh the start of the season.
