“Please don’t do this,” Twitter Reacts to Mike Tomlin’s claim of Mitch Trubisky being chosen as Steelers No.1 quarterback
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a huge question to find the answer to this season, as they are tasked with finding an able replacement for their veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. At this point it seems that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has identified 27-year-old Mitch Trubisky as the man to lead the franchise as the staring quarterback for the 2022 NFL season.
The head coach finally gave the answer as to who would be their starting quarterback for the 2022 NFL season, which was one of the major questions fans had after the franchise drafted Kenny Pickett a couple of months back. He also clarified why Mitch Trubisky would be starting quarterback for them ahead of Pickett and Mason Rudolph.

Mitch Trubisky is all set to don the starting quarterback role for the Steelers according to Mike Tomlin
Mitch Trubisky spent the first four years of his career as a starter for the Bears after being the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. He compiled a record of 29-21 and posted respectable numbers, including a 64.1 completion percentage and 64 touchdowns compared to 38 interceptions during his spell.
In response to a question by a reporter, Mike Tomlin was quoted saying, “Mitch’s silver bullet, if you will, is his fluidity and mobility. He’s a really good athlete. Rudolph throws a really good deep ball. (Pickett) has been Steady Eddie. Kenny P, I don’t think you can get him in an environment where he gets flustered. … We saw that at Pitt and it’s it’s been the same. It doesn’t matter what drill or what environment you put him in. He’s Steady Eddy and really cool.”
