The greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady, will be returning to the Gillette Stadium. The New England Patriots legend is set to be honored by the franchise in their season home opener of the 2023 regular season.
The Patriots owner Robert Kraft made an appearance on the Good Morning Football show on Thursday where he confirmed that he has indeed planned a Thank You game for the greatest Patriot to ever step onto the field.
“The greatest player in the history of the game played right here in Foxborough, and I’m happy to tell you … I invited him back to come here and be with us at the opening game,” team owner Robert Kraft revealed on Thursday morning.
As Kraft mentioned, the 15-time Pro Bowler Tom Brady is undeniably the greatest player to ever suit up in the Patriots jersey. Brady was the centerpiece of the Patriots’ 20-year-long dynasty that fell apart as soon as the 3-time league MVP left New England. During his time in New England, Brady led the Patriots to 9 Super Bowl appearances and won 6 Championship rings.
Furthermore, under the combination of Tom Brady and the ingenious head coach Bill Belichick, the Patriots completely dominated their division while winning 17 AFC East titles. The league will never see another player like Brady ever again and the Pats fans are ecstatic about seeing their favorite QB in Gillette Stadium once again.

The Patriots fans are excited to see Tom Brady once again in a Patriots jersey. He’s set to return to New England for the Patriots’ 2023 season home opener against the Miami Dolphins.
Tom Brady and Bill Belichick used to bully the AFC East teams. The Patriots still hold the record for most consecutive AFC Conference Championship appearances with 8 straight AFC title games under their leadership.
In his final years in the league, Brady left New England and found a new home in Florida. He became the franchise QB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady led the Bucs to their second-ever Super Bowl championship victory in his very first year with them.
He went on to play for 2 more seasons with the Buccaneers before retiring for good in February 2023. The 4-time All-Pro QB is now enjoying father time after retirement, but he will soon get back to football as he’s looking to start his career in sportscasting with Fox Network in the fall of 2024.
