Ryan Timothy Tannehill III has made a name for himself at the highest level. The star quarterback features for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL. He played college football at Texas A&M and delivered impressive performances on numerous occasions.

The Miami Dolphins roped him into their squad back in the 2012 NFL Draft. After spending a considerable amount of time with the franchise, he went to the Titans back in 2019 and since then, he has been an integral part of their setup.

Recently, Ryan was all over the internet when he delivered what many are calling an “unsavory response” when he was asked if he would mentor young Titans QB Malik Willis.

“That’s part of being in a quarterback room, in the same room. We’re competing against each other, we’re watching the same tape, we’re doing the same drills,” Tannehill said and went on to add that it isn’t his job to mentor the young quarterback.

“I don’t think it’s my job to mentor him, but if he learns from me along the way, then that’s a great thing,” he added. His comments went viral in no time and Twitteratis were pleased with his choice of words. Many even reminded him although it isn’t his job to guide the new recruit, as a teammate he must be helping the youngster out.

Earlier, everyone was left shellshocked by Willis’ drastic fall in the 2022 NFL draft. He was finally picked up by the Titans in the 3rd round. It will be interesting to see how Willis performs whenever he gets a chance to show his prowess on the big stage.
