Micah Parsons is often known for his candid and outspoken attitude and behavior, which has often got him in trouble on a number of counts. The young defensive maestro is quickly on his way to becoming the most controversial player in the league.

Parsons is currently enjoying the offseason and watching the NBA playoffs game in his downtime. Recently, the 23-year-old DT was spotted during the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics game. This was the Game 4 of the semi-final series.

Social media was enraged by Parsons after he attended the game. Although there is no restriction against watching an NBA game, it’s the way Parsons showed up that gave rise to controversy.

The Dallas Cowboys DT showed up in a 76ers jersey for the game. The Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles are arch-rivals and fans couldn’t handle it when Micah Parsons showed up in a Philly jersey. However, in his defense, Parsons was born in Harrisburg, which is two hours away from Philadelphia.

Parsons was unapologetic throughout the entire ordeal and was comfortably eating chicken wings while the jumbotron kept closing up on him. The 2-time Pro Bowler also tweeted about his jersey by giving a shoutout to 76ers player Tyrese Maxey.

Micah Parsons annoyed countless people on NFL Twitter yet again. This is not the first time he’s done it and certainly won’t be the last time. However, this time it occurred because he wore the jersey of a rival city.

The rivalry between the Cowboys and the Eagles is pretty intense and the fans are extremely loyal to their teams. Still, NBA is a different league altogether and maybe Parsons should get a chance to support a team from Philly.

Regardless, the fans disagree with Parsons’ decision and some even believe that the 23-year-old wants to move to the Eagles and the switch is just around the corner. Social media was furious with Parsons and decided to hit back at him on Twitter. The Eagles’ fans roasted the DT for favoring their team over the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl. On the other hand, the Cowboys fans were disgraced with their star defensive player.

Micah Parsons seems unfazed by all the hate he’s getting and maybe the Cowboys DT has become used to it. However, his move to the Eagles is just pure speculation and there’s a slim chance of it happening in reality.
