Tyler Boyd is a receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals and was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft. The Bengals have a strong receiving roster and Boyd is an integral part of it.

The Bengals had a great season last year but lost out to the Super Bowl winners Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. However, it could have gone down a different way if Boyd was still on the field.

“Still to this day, I feel like if I would have played the whole game, I was the key factor,” Tyler Boyd said to ESPN. “We would’ve won the game.”

Boyd felt that he was the key factor in the possible win against the Chiefs and his presence would have turned the tide in their favor. Tyler Boyd ranked third in receiving yards for the team and provided the much-needed depth in the squad. The Bengals WR suffered an injury in the second quarter and caught only two catches for 40 yards during that time.

The Bengals have improved a lot in recent years, all thanks to their incredible recruitment process. Tyler Boyd was drafted by the Bengals and is their longest-tenured player currently.

The Cincinnati-based team is a young one and the 28-year-old WR inspires to be a leader on and off the field. Boyd arrived at the Bengals’ voluntary practice session and wants to inspire brotherhood and camaraderie in all the players.

“I wanted to come around and bring camaraderie,” Tyler Boyd said, per the Bengals website. “I missed the guys. Even though I was away spending time with my family, quality time with my daughter, I just felt empty not being around my guys and being there for them.”

The Bengals WR is working incredibly hard this season to not repeat the mistakes made last season. Tyler Boyd has a point to prove against the Chiefs and their matchup during NFL week 17 will be an interesting one.
