On Sunday, Zach Wilson and the New York Jets traveled west to face the new-look Las Vegas Raiders in their week 10 matchup. Wilson had a poor outing against the Raiders and couldn’t lead his team to a victory.

Still, when he had the chance to deliver a game-winning Hail Mary, Wilson put up a good prayer but his remarkable throw went in vain as the Jets’ tight end Tyler Conklin knocked down the ball off Garrett Wilson‘s hand and rejected what would’ve been a game-winning touchdown.

During the final seconds of the game, the Jets were trailing by 4 points and just had enough time for one more snap from around the midfield. So, they decided to throw up a prayer. Zach Wilson, who received the snap from the shotgun position was immediately met with pressure but he managed to evade a couple of tackles and started to scramble.

Wilson rolled to the right and heaved up a hail-mary attempt from an almost impossible angle. The Jets pass catchers Garrett Wilson and Tyler Conklin had the chance to bring the ball down for a game-winning touchdown. Garrett Wilson jumped higher than three Las Vegas defenders to attempt to catch the ball, but it was tipped down from his hands by New York’s tight end Tyler Conklin.

The play ended as an incomplete pass and as a result; the Raiders managed to secure a 16-12 victory. With that victory, the Raiders improved to a solid 5-5 record. On the flip side, the Jets fell to an ugly 4-5 record on Sunday, which puts them in a tough spot as they continue their hunt for a playoff spot.

Tyler Conklin wasn’t happy with the Jets offense

On Sunday, the Jets dropped to 4-5 after failing to defeat the Las Vegas-based football team in their week 10 matchup. In the game, the Jets tight end Tyler Conklin failed to complete a potential game-winning touchdown catch.

Following the loss, the talented tight end expressed his frustration with the performance of the Jets’ offensive unit. He said that the Jets’ offensive is letting down their entire team.

There’s really no good answer to give you guys besides we’ve got to figure it the f--k out. We’re letting the defense down, the team down.
Conklin in the locker room interview.

Zach Wilson and the Jets have been very inconsistent, which has resulted in them having a poor record through the first 10 weeks of the 2023 NFL season. Now, they will try to turn around their season by defeating the Buffalo Bills, who the Jets are scheduled to face next in their week 11 matchup.
