Tyler Huntley is an NFL quarterback who plays for the Baltimore Ravens. He was signed by the Ravens after he was undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft and has been with the franchise ever since then. He isn’t the starting quarterback for the Ravens and hence hasn’t played much football but he is the second-string QB to Ravens’ current starter- Lamar Jackson.
Huntley, who was a bright talent, played college football at Utah Utes representing the University of Utah. He was a very successful college player and began his ‘brilliant’ career in 2016 as a replacement for Troy Williams. In 2017, Huntley started 10 games and completed 199 of 312 passes for 2,411 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
He finished the 2018 season by completing 150 of 234 passes for 1,788 yards, 12 touchdowns, and six interceptions. For his senior year in 2019, he led the Utes to the Pac-12 final courtesy of his 3,092 passing yards and 19 touchdowns with just four interceptions.
Huntley had a few games during the 2021 season but the majority of his starts came in 2022 when Lamar Jackson wasn’t available. He had decent stats to carry his claim as Ravens’ No.1 guy in Jackson’s absence and everything paid off when he started quarterback for the Ravens in their first playoff game in 2023 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
