“More media attention!” Ex-Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill beefs with AJ Brown over him taking a jibe at Travis Kelce’s sideline altercation with Andy Reid at Super Bowl

Hill sneakily tried to give Brown's tweet a color tone.

Arguably the biggest talking point of Super Bowl LVIII was Travis Kelce screaming at Andy Reid. AJ Brown, who was at home watching the game from his couch, made a snarky retort about the scuffle.

The Kansas City Chiefs did not have the best of starts at Allegiant Stadium. The only memorable moment in the first quarter was when Patrick Mahomes got sacked by 49ers linebacker Chase Young. It was more of the same in the second, which kicked off with a 49ers field goal.

Mahomes tried to rally the team with a 52-yard pass to Mecole Hardman Jr. But a fumble from Isiah Pacheco gave the ball back to the 49ers. In the following drive, San Francisco used trickery to fool the Chiefs’ defense.

After the snap, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy took the ball, flicking it to Juan Jennings. Then the wide receiver threw a crossfield pass to All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey, who ran to score a 21-yard rushing touchdown.

Thus far, Kelce has caught just one pass, and falling 10 points behind in the Super Bowl got to him. The CBS camera caught him screaming at head coach Andy Reid. Following the incident, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown tweeted out that if he had done the same with Nick Sirianni (the Eagles head coach), then he would be kicked out.

Brown’s tweet sent out shockwaves throughout the internet. Former Chiefs playmaker Tyreek Hill chimed in with his thoughts. Hill tried to decipher why Brown phrased it like that. The all-pro playmaker subtly hinted that skin color could be a factor.

But we know why though right.

AJ Brown’s clarification about the viral tweet

Saying that he would be thrown out by the Eagles was a bold statement, even for Brown, who is known to be a chatterbox. After Hill retweeted, Green Bay Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari commented, asking the reason for the 8-time Pro Bowler’s surprising response.

Hill was probably ready to reply. He wrote,

Because he plays in Philly more media attention.

Bakhtiari agreed with it, but the matter did not end there. As it turned out, Brown did not even send the original tweet that kicked off a series of debates. Moments later, the profile that sent out the post claimed it was a burner account.

This is a fake AJ Brown page. I’m just a fan. I’m not trying to get him in trouble with what I say.

Brown’s teammate and Eagles cornerback, Darius Slay, backed up the claim. Slay revealed that he talked with the 26-year-old, confirming whether it was really him or not.

Just talk to AJ that wasn’t him...

Fortunately for Brown, Slay saw the tweet and stuck up for him. Otherwise, the statement the alleged ‘fake profile’ sent could have landed him in big trouble.
