Tyreek Hill‘s celebrations have been as legendary as his performances this season. The Miami Dolphins‘ star receiver has pulled off some incredible celebrations this season for some of his most electric touchdowns. However, one of his celebrations this season had some severe repercussions.

During the Dolphins’ week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers, Hill scored a touchdown and, as a celebration, grabbed a cameraman’s phone and filmed himself doing a backflip. That cameraman was a young man named Kevin Fitzgibbons. He and Hill were close friends as they worked together this season. However, Hill’s celebration resulted in Fitzgibbons getting fired from the NFL. He shared a video on Twitter explaining what happened during the game.

Hill retweeted the video with the caption:

I would comment but I could get fined.

It was a cheeky dig at the NFL who fired Fitzgibbons. The 20-year-old student of the University of Miami said in the video that 2022 was:

One of the greatest years of (his) life, working side by side with one of (his) best friends, watching him take over the league on his new team.

Hill is in the midst of a historic season. He is on pace to accumulate 2,000 receiving yards this season which will be a first in NFL history. So far this season, Hill has 1,324 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns through 11 games. The Dolphins are 8-3 in that span.

Tyreek Hill claims that this year’s Dolphins team is better than the Chiefs of 2019

Tyreek Hill is already a Super Bowl champion. He won his ring with the Kansas City Chiefs back in the 2019-20 season. The seven-time Pro-Bowler is looking to achieve that same feat this season with the Miami Dolphins. The pass catcher believes that this season’s Dolphins team is already better than the Super Bowl-winning Chiefs team.

Hill said in an interview with CBS Sports:

I won a Super Bowl and I feel like this is probably the better team than when we won a Super Bowl back when I was on K.C.

The Dolphins are one of the most entertaining and explosive teams in the NFL. They have won 8 of their 11 games this season and are looking like a Super Bowl contender.

The Dolphins won their last game against the New York Jets and have won three of their last four games. Their next game is against the Washington Commanders and Hill will look to have another big game against the NFC team.
