A path to success goes through confidence. And Tyreek Hill is the epitome of that. The wide receiver led his Miami Dolphins to a startling victory against the Dallas Cowboys, which was much needed for them to secure a playoff spot. And they got it!

Before the game, there were a lot of doubts on whether or not the star wideout would play since recovering from his severe ankle injury that he sustained in week 14 in the game against the Tennessee Titans. He had to miss out on week 15 when Miami destroyed the New York Jets 30-0.

Even during the practice sessions on Thursday and Friday, Hill had limited participation. He was cleared to play right before the game, and luckily it worked out in the Dolphins’ favor. His absence could have been a major blowout for them, as the Cowboys aren’t like the Jets.

While talking to the media postgame WR Hill was asked about the crucial victory.

This game right here was really like a mentality game for us… I feel like I’m the engine of this team, I get guys going, I get guys turned up. So for me just being out there man..is a blessing for me, I'm grateful for it.

Hill has posted 1,542 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns this season and was the primary threat in the passing game for the opponents.

Will Tyreek Hill achieve the 2,000-yard feat this season?

Entering the Week 16 game, wideout Hill was already at the point in the season where he was close to achieving the feat of 2,000 yards in a single season. With this feat, he would become the first receiver in NFL history to do so. He might have already achieved it if he hadn’t been injured and missed one game.

In the game against the Cowboys, Hill logged nine passes for 99 yards with an injured ankle, leading to a 22-20 victory over a contending team and clinching a playoff spot. Now, the star receiver has 1,641 receiving yards and is very close to breaking an NFL record.

If he went with this pace, he might post 1,876 yards, assuming that he plays in the remaining two games for the Dolphins. To achieve the 2,000-yard feat, Hill would need to post at least 359 more yards in the last two games, averaging 179.5 per game.
