Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s tryst with the law might not just be over after he was alleged of slapping a man on 18th of June, who was working at the Haulover Marina in Miami. A report by Monica Galarza of NBC 6 in South Florida claimed that the unnamed man is willing to press charges against the star NFL wide receiver.
According to reports, Hill was involved in a disagreement with a man, and it allegedly ended with the wide receiver slapping him on the head from behind. All of this started when a couple of women, friends of Hill were trying to get onto a chartered fishing boat without permission.
The alleged victim spotted this and stopped them from getting onto the boat when an argument broke out between the group of women and the workers present there. Boat employees told police that Hill said, “I can buy you and the boat,” and, “I’m No. 10 with the Miami Dolphins,” a police source told Fox Sports 640.
In the meantime, it has been alleged, that Hill was the man to have slapped the man from behind although police reports did not name either of them.
Miami Dolphins have reserved their comment on Tyreek Hill following his alleged involvement in assaulting a man
The police investigation report that was completed on Wednesday claims that the incident by surveillance cameras present at the place of occurrence, but no footage has been released of it so far. However, the report also pointed out an important aspect about the victim wanting to press charges against his assailant thought to be Hill currently.
In a section that asked, “Will the victim prefer charges?” the report contained “Yes” in it. This is in stark contrast to the initial reports on Tuesday from various sources that claimed the crew member did not want to press charges after he was told by the police that he needed to go through the state attorney to pursue criminal charges.
“We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL. We will reserve further comment at this time,” Tyreek Hill’s franchise, the Miami Dolphins said in a statement. Meanwhile, Tyreek Hill’s girlfriend is Keeta Vaccaro and the couple started dating 3 years back.
