Kansas City Chiefs’ 2016 draft Tyreek Hill, joined the Miami Dolphins last season during the NFL trade. The All-Pro receiver recently appreciated how well the Dolphins have been doing this season. But the surprising part was, he claimed this season’s Dolphins are even better than the 2019 Chiefs with whom he won the Super Bowl.

While talking on the matter, the wideout also shed light on his relationship with his former teammate Patrick Mahomes, and why he left the Chiefs. Looks like Hill was pretty upset with Mahomes for inviting tight-end Travis Kelce to his house, but not him.

Adding more flavor to the whole thing, Hill said:

I was hurt. Patrick, you ain't never invited me over to your house like you did Kelce, that's why we here where we at now. I've never been anybody's side chick before. I go to KC, now I'm the side chick.

Although the wideout was joking about all of it, there might be a chance that the whole thing is true, coated with a layer of laughter. And we never know, if Mahomes would have invited Hill over to his house, then he might not have gone through with the trade deal with Miami.

Whatever it would have been, Hill would have been as amazing as he has been with the Dolphins this season. As he leads the 1,100 receiving yards in four of his six seasons with Miami.

Tyreek Hill’s dicey conversation with QB Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid

After remembering many instances from his time with his former NFL team, wideout Hill also revealed a ‘dicey’ conversation he had with quarterback Mahomes and former head coach Andy Reid. It happened right before his trade deal with the Dolphins ahead of last season.

They were the last two people whom he talked to before getting traded by the Chiefs. They implied how the Chiefs had made the deal happen, and it resulted in him agreeing to sign a 4-year extension contract with Miami.

This season, in the week 9 game held in Germany, Hill also pointed out how he didn’t feel the same affection from HC Reid and quarterback Mahomes, as he felt meeting the other teammates such as tight end Kelce.
