Ex-Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill gets brutally roasted by a fan over him missing two Super Bowls just because he wanted to play at Dolphins with Tua Tagovailoa
Hill claimed he is sticking by his decision to play in Miami.

Did Tyreek Hill make a mistake by leaving the Kansas City Chiefs? Much has been said since he left the star-studded team for the Miami Dolphins. While he has yet to have success with the Dolphins, the Chiefs, on the other hand, won a Super Bowl without him.
Could Hill be having second thoughts after another disappointing campaign that ended at Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium in the wild-card round? Neither did he manage to take the Dolphins to a divisional round, nor was he able to fulfill his personal goal of eclipsing the 2000 receiving yards.
If the 29-year-old is having doubts about his move to South Beach, he is very good at keeping a lid on it. A fan on X (formerly Twitter) tried to push Hill’s buttons by saying that he missed two Super Bowls (depending on whether the Chiefs could beat the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday) to play with Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins quarterback.
Hill gave a befitting reply to the slight jab. He tweeted:
We are living our best life in Miami, too. Don’t worry, our time is coming.
Why did Tyreek Hill leave the Kansas City Chiefs?
Hill, being one of the best receivers in football, bagged a pretty penny at Kansas City. But he was also losing a chunk of his salary due to tax for being a resident of the state of Missouri. As he neared the end of his contract before the 2022 season, the Dolphins gave him a deal that he couldn’t turn down.
The Chiefs traded him away and received five draft picks in return. It included 2022 first, second, and fourth-round draft picks and 2023 fourth and sixth-round picks. Judging by the haul, the Dolphins did not have to give anything major for a future Hall of Famer.
Tyreek Hill signed a new 4-year contract worth $120 million with the Miami Dolphins in March 2022. The eight-time Pro Bowler bagged a signing bonus of $25 million and got $52 million guaranteed. Not only that, he will be living tax-free because it’s Miami.
When asked about his motivation for moving down south, Hill said,
With no state income tax, I am living in my house for free right now.
Hill has an annual salary of $30 million. The contract also includes a workout bonus of $100,000 each year, with a roster bonus of $10 million in 2023 and $1 million in 2025.
