Entering week 17, the Miami Dolphins were standing high at 11-4 with the hope of conquering the No. 1 AFC seed, while wide receiver Tyreek Hill led the MVP as non-quarterback. However, it all came crashing down when the team met with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Not only did they drop to 11-5, but the Dolphins suffered their worst loss of the season 56-19.
The MVP contender, Hill took this loss too personally as he was on the trajectory to reach 2,000 yards, but now he is at the pace of 1,831 yards in the 16 games with an average of 114.5 yards per game, considering he will be playing in the finale game against the Buffalo Bills. For him to reach the 2,000-yard milestone, he would at least need to log 283 yards in the Dolphins’ final game.

Miami’s star receiver admitted to the media, that the game against the Ravens was one of the worst games of his career in the NFL. He logged six catches for 76 yards, including a characteristic drop in the end zone. But the good thing is, despite such a bizarre loss, the Dolphins are still promising to make the postseason.
And seems like, the wideout is now focusing on that. Hill sent out a strong message on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, indicating he is positive for the future, and that he isn’t going to let the 56-19 loss downplay him.
In a four-word message, Hill wrote:
Never gone be easy.Tyreek Hill on X
He added a saluting emoji, as the receiver is keeping his head high for his team’s playoff performances.
Tyreek Hill breaks NFL record for consecutive 1,700-yard seasons
Although the Sunday Night Football game ended up in misfortune for the Dolphins, one thing that did happen was Tyreek Hill making history by becoming the first NFL player to record back-to-back seasons of at least 1,700 receiving yards.

The receiver entered the game needing 59 yards to achieve this feat and as he recorded 79, the success was inevitable. The career-high yards recorded by Hill was last season at 1,710. He has surpassed that this season and leads the league with 1,717 receiving yards.
Hill is known to be the third player in the league to register more than 110 receptions in three straight seasons for the AFC top spot race, before him are Antonio Brown and Wes Welker.
