The Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins seemed to have a remarkable victory against the San Francisco 49ers on 22-17, alongside the rookie 21-year-old Jordan Addison. Seems like quarterback Cousins gets a great kick spending time with his young teammates, as he shared.
Kirk Cousins talked to PEOPLE about his Kidde Cause for Alarm campaign and praised the diverse backgrounds and ages in their locker room, which helps the players bond this season.

Cousins supported his statement and said:
Because I'm 35, I'm one of the older guys in the locker room, and then you've got guys as young as 21, and so you have this age gap. You have guys coming from all corners of the country. You guys have guys coming from cities, and guys coming from rural areas, so just the differences in life experiences all coming together in one place is so much fun.
Furthermore, the Vikings’ QB mentioned that he picked up on fresh music trends from his younger teammates. He said that they all get exposed to various music they wouldn’t typically listen to.
The locker room keeps Kirk Cousins feeling youthful as he raises his two boys with his wife, Julie Hampton Cousins. He believes that being in the locker room makes him feel like he won’t be the “old dad.”
Cousins also mentioned that his sons are big fans of Justin Jefferson, just like many others. He frequently brings his sons to his practices, particularly during training camp, allowing them to meet everyone.
Rookie Jordan Addison shines as Vikings’ new star receiver
Rookie Jordan Addison was drafted in the NFL 2023 draft, in April by Minnesota Vikings, where coach Kevin O’Connell added him in the team’s offensive scheme. And when the Vikings needed him, especially after Justin Jefferson was sidelined by a strained hamstring, Addison proved himself worthy.

In the game against the 49ers, Addison had his first 100-yard game, caught two touchdowns, and nearly caught a third. As a rookie, he’s already made 29 catches for 400 yards and six touchdowns in seven Vikings games this season. In fact, in the past 40 years, he’s one of only four receivers to achieve 400 receiving yards and at least six touchdowns.
Although Jefferson won’t be back for the next two games, when he returns, he’ll have a new connection with Addison, who is becoming a valuable asset for the Vikings.
