Bynum is a much-relieved husband now. Lalaine had struggled to receive her visa from the Philippines ever since his husband was drafted as a Viking. A few days back, Bynum used his television time to speak elaborately on the problems that his wife was facing.

After the video went viral, two Minnesota senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith contacted Bynum and assured him that they would look into this matter. They also assured Bynum that they would provide all the necessary help to him and his wife to get the visas.

Finally, Lalaine received her visa and attended the Vikings game against the Saints. Her husband had a good performance as he led three total tackles with one solo and two assists.

Bynum acknowledged the help from the senators as he said,

I still had fun handing her the ball. Once I was able to have that game on the Monday night game and be able to make it public, so many people reached out to help. So many parties — the senator's office, a Minnesota organization that helped us with it, even the embassy in the Philippines.

The Joshua Dobbs gamble going good so far for the Vikings

It is going all good for the Minnesota Vikings. After a sluggish start to their 2023 campaign, they finally got back on track with consecutive five wins.

It was highly unexpected from them, as their regular quarterback Kirk Cousins was ruled out due to an injury and the team went for Joshua Dobbs as their backup option. The fans were not happy with the decision, since Dobbs was nowhere close to the efficiency of Cousins.

However, Dobbs is turning out to be one of their dependable options. On his debut, the QB registered two touchdowns, and in the game against the Saints; he registered one touchdown for 268 passing yards. He had zero turnovers throughout the game and was effective as a passer. He was too good in the first half.

In the postgame interview, Dobbs acknowledged the team and said that he was excited to be a Viking. It is to be seen how he performs in the coming games.
