Caleb Williams is one of the biggest draws in the football world right now. After a historic 2022 season with USC, Williams came into this season with a lot of expectations. However, he failed to lead his USC team to the playoffs this season. Although he played exceptional football, USC weren’t able to win games consistently in the later stages of the season. They eventually finished with a record of 7-5.

Williams is also one of the highest-paid college athletes in the country. His $2.7 million NIL deal ranks him fifth among all college athletes in the country. Bronny James remains atop of those rankings. Williams is behind Colorado Buffaloes’ QB Shedeur Sanders and Texas Longhorns’ QB Arch Manning. The USC quarterback is projected to be the first overall pick in next year’s draft.

Williams’ former USC teammate and current Minnesota Vikings’ WR, Jordan Addison recently shared a story on Instagram account of Williams and his car. The duo appeared to be heading home after a meet-up when Addison filmed Williams sitting in his red Porsche. The receiver captioned the video as “My dog having his way” and called his former teammates’ car, the ‘Lightning McQueen.’ Both Addison and Williams played together at USC in 2022.

Addison was drafted by the Vikings in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. In his only season with USC, the receiver played 11 games, accumulated 875 yards and scored 8 touchdowns. Addison’s most successful season in college came in 2021, when he went off for more than 1,500 yards for the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Caleb Williams confirms that it’s “a game-time decision” whether he will declare for next year’s draft

Caleb Williams is the consensus first-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, the USC quarterback hasn’t declared for the draft yet and says that it is still a “game-time decision.” The deadline for that is January 15 next year.

He opened up about his 2023 season playing for the USC Trojans. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner said that it was one of his “most important years of playing football so far.” The Trojans finished with a record of 7-5 and missed the playoffs. They ended the season losing five of their last six games.

Williams had a great year again, as he finished the season with 3,633 passing yards and 30 touchdowns with just 5 interceptions. He also had 142 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. His passer rating was 170.1 which was better than his Heisman-winning season last year.
