“A player on our team was shot multiple times,” The Washington Commanders use Brian Robinson’s shooting as a stunning excuse to lash out at Attorney general
Brian Robinson
The Washington Commanders have been under the radar for a long time now. The team has been accused of alleged workplace misconduct and many more. Owner Dan Snyder is also under lots of pressure, so the news of the D.C. attorney general giving a press conference regarding them took the Commanders by surprise.
The Commanders were very smart and made a move out of a chess game where they announced the arrival of the new Washington D.C. attorney general while using their RB Brian Robinson as a cover to soften the blow.
The D.C. attorney general office announced that they will hold a press conference and need to make a big announcement regarding the Commanders. A Commanders team spokesperson lashed out in response.
“Less than three months ago, a 23-year-old player on our team was shot multiple times, in broad daylight. Despite the out -of-control violent crime in DC, today the Washington Commanders learned for the first time on Twitter that the D.C. Attorney General will be holding a press conference to “make a major announcement” related to the organization tomorrow.” Reported by ESPN’s John Klein.
The Commanders seem anxious as they have gone this far just to hit back at the attorney general. Although the reason for the press conference is not known, D.C. attorney general Karl Racine will probably be looking to investigate the Commanders’ organization for possible workplace misconduct.
Brian Robinson was used as a scapegoat by the Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders supposedly showed no sympathy for their Brian Robinson’s terrible shootout when they used the RB as cover.
Robinson was shot twice in D.C. during a robbery attempt. The third-round NFL 2022 draft pick suffered many injuries but later pulled back and made his return to the field.
Two teenagers were also arrested regarding this incident and charged as they were related to the shooting. Robinson’s agent was furious after reading the Commanders’ statement and decided to hit back at them.
“Up until an hour ago, the Commanders handled the Brian Robinson situation with so much care, sincerity and class,” Williams tweeted. “And I was so grateful for all of it. Although I know that there are some great humans in that building, whoever is hiding behind this statement is not one of them.”
The Commanders have also been abysmal on the field as the team is currently 4th in their respective division and will face the Houston Texans in their next game.
