The Cincinnati Bengals are having a difficult season. Their starting quarterback Joe Burrow was ruled out of the season after a right-hand injury during their game against the Baltimore Ravens. Backup QB Jake Browning took the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers in their week 12 matchup. Although the Bengals showed some fight, the Steelers won the game 16-10.

That defeat saw the Bengals slip to below .500 as they now have a tall task ahead of them to make the playoffs. They had a chance to win the game though, as the Bengals went into halftime with a 7-3 lead. The Steelers played a much better second half and pulled off the win. After the game, Bengals’ guard Cody Ford went to meet his girlfriend who came to watch the game. His girlfriend shared the video of Ford meeting her and it wasn’t a smooth meetup, to say the least.

Ford seemed to be irritated by his girlfriend’s cheerful mood despite the team’s loss against the Steelers. They had a brief conversation in which Ford looked upset because of the win and wasn’t responding to his girlfriend properly. MLFootball shared that video on Twitter with the caption:

However, it may have been in fun and games as Ford said “I love you” to his girlfriend before leaving for the locker room.

Ford’s girlfriend has shared these types of videos before on TikTok where the couple were seen having a fun banter after the game. The guard was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. He spent three seasons with the Bills before going to the Arizona Cardinals and then to the Bengals in 2022.

Zac Taylor talks about the Cincinnati Bengals’ dreadful run game

The Cincinnati Bengals took the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday with their backup QB Jake Browning. It was Browning’s first NFL start and the offense struggled to put up points all game, mostly due to a lack of a proper run game. Their head coach Zac Taylor spoke about it after the game.

Taylor said:

That’s life vs. Pittsburgh. And you know that’s going to happen. It’s going to be tough sledding when you’re running the ball, we need to get more production out of that. It takes the pressure off the passing game; that’s what they rely on. We gotta do a better job just managing the drives as we go and put ourselves in a little bit more advantageous situations.

The Bengals will play their next game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football. They have been a great team in recent years, but with Joe Burrow out due to an injury, their 2023 NFL season might not go according to plan.
