Facing off against the Michigan Wolverines, seems like Ohio State Buckeyes has already made its fair share of mistakes, that cost them hefty. In the very first quarter, the quarterback Kyle McCord was intercepted by the opponents’ defensive back Will Johnson, on their own territory.
Fortunately for the Wolverines, who couldn’t get the ball moving for a first down, took complete advantage of the pick, landing Blake Corun take a 7-0 early lead for a fourth and goal run, with 5:36 minutes remaining in the opening quarter. As the running back Corum converted on a fourth-and-short, turning it into a touchdown run, the crowd went totally wide.

Half of the stadium cheered in yellow for their running back who made history with his touchdown. With this game, he has achieved the record of holding the highest number of rushing TDs in a single season. Getting the next possession, the Buckeyes moved the ball down the field, after an amazing pass from quarterback McCord.
McCord has completed 4 out of his 10 passing attempts for 47 yards and one interception. If he plans to score a victory in the team’s biggest game of the college football season, he would need to step up his game.
The Michigan Wolverines went on to win the game, 30-24.
Fans demanding to bench Kyle McCord
With jeopardizing his team majorly after throwing an interception, fans are already demanding to bench quarterback McCord.

On one side time, when Michigan’s fans are cheering and celebrating running back Corun, Ohio State fans are venting over social media. They are calling him “trash” and joking about his ugly interception. Over the social media, Buckeyes fans are demanding Ryan Day in the place of McCord. One wrote, “Bench Kyle McCord. Just truly awful,” while another wrote, “McCord is so bad man! It hurts.”
It’s for sure Ohio State’s fans are not happy with their quarterback, and they want immediate change in the form of Day.’
