“We did something REALLY COOL!”: Joe Burrow has no REGRETS for attending Superbowl After-Party

The Cincinnati Bengals lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the Superbowl after putting up a fighting performance not just in the final but all throughout the season. However the team came under some scrutiny after they attended an after-party shortly succeeding the Superbowl loss.
Fans tore into the players and could not digest the fact that the real could celebrate after failing to secure the Superbowl. Recently Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow appeared on a podcast with Bob Menery and clarified on this point.
Joe Burrow says he didn’t want to sulk after Superbowl defeat and hence went to the after-party

The Cincinnati Bengals attended an after-party which featured a performance from Ohio’s own Kid Cudi. Fans were of the thought that their players should be sad and not have any reason to celebrate the loss.
Joe Burrow shit down such opinions on the Full Send Podcast. He said that the team was extremely proud of their achievements throughout the season and a loss at the final stage should not be a reason to sulk and be distraught.
“Then after the game I was like, ‘Yeah, it sucks that we just lost the Super Bowl, but we did something really cool’ and I wanted to celebrate with the guys about what we did for the year and all the success that we had rather than, you know, sit in the corner and sulk about the game we just lost,” Joe Burrow said.
The Bengals won an extremely tough AFC North Championship and put up a spirited fight in the playoffs. Burrow is right to point out that the team had enough of reasons to celebrate especially after making it so far when many would not have backed them to do so.
