“We need to execute at a higher level” Broncos HC Nathaniel Hackett reacts to getting brutally booed by the fans following an ugly win against the Texans

The Denver Broncos were asleep the whole game against the Texans. Though they managed to win against the Texans with a score of 16-9, it was a trashy win at best, but a win is a win. Broncos HC Nathaniel Hackett wasn’t able to manage the team properly and it could be seen by the plays they were using.
A series of miscues by Nathaniel Hackett resulted in the crows booing the Broncos as well as their head coach Nathaniel Hackett. There were also delay’s in their play which enraged the crowds even further.
The fans expect a lot from the Broncos since their star QB signed Russell Wilson and the Broncos weren’t able to meet those expectations, resulting in boos from the crowds.
“I would be booing myself,” Nathaniel Hackett told reporters after the 16-9 win. “I was getting very frustrated. We get down to the red zone two times. Don’t get another touchdown, which is unbelievably frustrating. I don’t think we have scored in there yet. That’s something that all of our guys have to step it up. Whether we run the ball more, whatever we’re doing, we just have to execute at a higher level.”
The fans were also counting down the clock because of the slow pace of the Broncos players when trying to play for which the Broncos also suffered delay-of-game penalties.
“I think I just need to be sure I clean up exactly what I’m hearing”: Broncos HC Nathaniel Hackett believes in hearing the criticisms and getting better

The week 2 NFL fixture against the Texans was the first home for Nathaniel Hackett and QB Russell Wilson. Both of them were met by a plethora of boos and insults because of their performance in the first game of the season.
“No, I think there’s definitely some things that go on once you get down to that unique area,” Hackett said. “I think I just need to be sure I clean up exactly what I’m hearing, where I’m going with, and make sure I’m on the same page for Russ. I think that will make us more efficient”
The Denver Broncos will have to improve a lot if they are looking to meet the expectations of their fans and supporters and the main protagonists of the team are Nathaniel Hackett and Russell Wilson.
