The Tennessee Titans played their week 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons at the Nissan Stadium. It was the debut game of Titans’ rookie quarterback Will Levis. The young QB served as a backup for starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill to start the season. However, Tannehill suffered an ankle injury in London and is expected to miss a significant amount of time.
Levis came into the game with a lot of question marks around his ability. He answered them all with a stunning performance. The rookie QB completed 19 of his 29 pass attempts for 238 yards and 4 touchdowns. He made some great plays throughout the game and celebrated with his parents after the Titans’ win.
In a video posted on Twitter by former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, Levis can be seen celebrating with his parents after the win. He hugged his family after getting his maiden NFL win. Griffin captioned the video as:
Watching Will Levis celebrate with his family after throwing 4 touchdowns in his first NFL start and winning is so wholesome. THIS IS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT.
Levis was drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He played his college football at Penn State for three years before transferring to Kentucky in 2021. He was projected to be a first-round pick but fell into the draft before eventually getting drafted by the Titans as the 33rd overall pick.
Will Levis had a debut to remember against the Falcons on Sunday
Will Levis came into the game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday with a lot to prove. He had to wait till the second round to get drafted after being projected to be a high first-round pick. The QB was fired up for the game and came out swinging.

Levis’ first touchdown pass was a 47-yard bomb to DeAndre Hopkins, and since then, he never looked back. The rookie QB finished the game with 238 yards and 4 touchdowns. He completed 65.5 percent of his passes and his connection with WR DeAndre Hopkins was off the charts from the get-go.
The Titans bounced back against the Falcons after losing two games in a row. They have improved to 3-4 and, with Levis playing well in his first game, the Titans will look to build on this momentum and go on a winning run. They will play their next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.
