One woman sues the Cleveland Browns for negligence in dealing with Deshaun Watson
One of the woman accusers who has allegedly said that Cleveland Browns quarterback Watson molested her, has filed a case against the team. Texas attorney Tony Buzbee filed a civil lawsuit against the Houston Texans on Monday.
Buzbee’s client has accused the Browns of aiding Deshaun Watson by providing “rooms set up for him at the Houstonian Hotel, massage tables provided to him for private massage sessions, and an NDA provided to him from the head of Texans’ security.”
“Today we filed the first case of what will likely be many against the Houston Texans related to Deshaun Watson’s behaviour,” Buzbee said in an official statement. “Suffice it to say, the overwhelming evidence collected indicates that the Houston Texans enabled Watson’s behaviour is incredibly damning. We believe the Texans knew or most certainly should have known of Watson’s conduct.”
“We are aware of the lawsuit filed against us today,” the Houston Texans said in a statement. “Since March 2021, we have fully supported and complied with law enforcement and the various investigations. We will continue to take the necessary steps to address the allegations against our organization.”
