The Detroit Lions marched into the NFC Championship game as they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. They have taken the league by storm with their grit and determination and are just one win away from the Super Bowl.

Sensing an opportunity to play in the Super Bowl, former Arizona Cardinals‘ veteran tight end Zach Ertz signed with the Lions, just five days before their championship game. He will initially sign with the practice squad, but the Lions may move him up to the active roster for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the 49ers if he’s ready to play after just a few days of training.
