“Trying to steal things from Aaron Rodgers,” Jets QB Zach Wilson shares his FANBOYING story ahead of clash with Packers veteran

The New York Jets are all set to take on the NFC North side, Green Bay Packers in their Week-6 fixture. This will mark the first time that Jets QB, Zach Wilson faces Packers veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
This occasion is exceptionally special for the 23-year-old, as he claimed to be a Rodgers fan during his initial years. Currently, Wilson can be extremely proud of himself as his side and the Packers have a similar 3-2 record so far this season.
Zach Wilson will face Aaron Rodgers for the first time in his career

“I’ve been watching him since I was a little kid,” Wilson said this week of the veteran Rodgers, via Newsday. “Trying to replicate the way he throws, the way he plays the game.“
Zach Wilson claimed that he always grew up watching Aaron Rodgers throw the ball, and tried to imitate his actions with the ball, something which has also helped him grow as a quarterback.
“We didn’t have an NFL team in Utah. I wouldn’t say I was a Packers fan. I was just an Aaron Rodgers fan. I grew up watching him. I always liked watching their games because of him and kind of where he was at. He was a quarterback I tried to replicate and steal things from.”

Wilson is also on a dream run himself, given that he has overseen the Jets to back-to-back NFL victories against strong opposition in the form of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Miami Dolphins, last week.
A victory over a struggling Packers side will be the ideal thing for the Jets and co. especially so for Wilson, as it would mean he’s one up against his childhood idol.
