Zach Wilson has hogged all the limelight in the recent times. He played college football at BYU and impressed one and all with his top-class performances and was selected second overall by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Although he didn’t post incredible numbers last season, several top experts have high hopes for him for the upcoming season as they reckon that he has what it takes to be a star QB. However, Zach found himself in the midst of a major controversy recently when his ex-girlfriend posted a comment on social media regarding the QB’s love life and as expected, they went crazy viral.

Zach Wilson was called a real homie hopper by his ex-girlfriend
Zach former girlfriend Abbey Gile called the QB a real homie hopper and accused him of sleeping with his mom’s best friend. All of a sudden, a number of people just wanted to know who exactly is Wilson’s mother’s friend and how she looks like. In fact, even NFL analyst Colin Cowherd, in one of his segments had claimed that he would really like to know more about the mystery woman.
Even Nicolette Dellanno, who is rumored to be currently dating Zach was targeted by internet sleuths with many asking her if she is Zach mom’s friend. Just when the whole ‘homie hopper’ saga was starting to die down, Zach father added fuel to the fire with his latest comments.
As it turns out, a fan ran into Zach Wilson and asked him for a picture. The QB agreed and while they were ready to get clicked, Zach’s father who was clicking the picture, said, “Say MILF on 3.” The fan took to Twitter and wrote, “ran into Zach Wilson today and asked for a pic. His dad, as he’s taking the pic, ‘Say MILF on 3!’ Legends.“
When Abbey first called out Zach on social media for sleeping with his mom’s best friend, a lot of people were expecting this to hurt the QB’s overall image. However, all the speculations have attracted exactly opposite reactions from the public. Wilson has been hailed and called a DAWG by many and he certainly doesn’t seem to mind it.
